July 1, 2023 R2D New Housing and Life Skills
Additional Housing for Men and Women will be added to the Road to Damascus Sober Living program July 1, 2023 bringing our total outreach to 64 beds. Pathways out of Poverty our new life skills class has started and we are thrilled to see our clients start using some of what they learn in the curriculum.
October 1 year Anniversary and Graduation
What has R2D been up to this last year, well we have went from 3 homes with 23 clients to 11 homes providing housing, love, and a chance for hope to 72 men and women. 51 adults and 6 children were baptized, that's breaking generational curses and a huge deal. 6 out of the first 23 clients graduated the program and last year 10 families got homes in the community and 3 of those are families that have their children back. That's the goal and why were are here, make today be your day.
Sense of community and belonging.
When we start the process of Recovery we have to become a new person and put to rest those toxic relationships from our past, we need a place where we can build healthy friendships. I know during my journey having a place that i could just hang out talk about where I was in my walk spiritually and play a video game would have been a game changer. Our Recovery Center will be that and so much more.

They worshiped together regulary at the Temple each day, met in small groups in homes for communion, and shared their meals with great joy and thankfulness praising God. The whole city was favorable to them and each day God added to them and who were being saved.
